Assistant Chef d' Equipe to George Morris for the US Olympic team, Bernie Traurig is here on July 7th and 8th 2009.

Hello all! My name is Peridot Burke and I am a boarder at Gunter's farm. I keep 2 jumpers and show on the A circuit on the west coast under the tutelage of Bernie Traurig. I am hosting a jumping clinic at GT Malibu on the weekend of November 7th and 8th that will be taught be Bernie.

He has won over 60 show jumping grand prix, and won at the top levels of dressage and eventing as well. Bernie serves as assistant Chef d' Equipe to George Morris for the US Olympic team and is an elected member of the USEF high performance show jumping committee, and comes to us with over 50 years of winning show and training experience.

I extend an invitation to all of you, your friends, your clients, and their friends to join Bernie and myself for an educational weekend as either a participant or spectator. I can assure all of you that not only will the weekend be informative, but also fun!

Almost all levels of experience and age groups welcome to ride; all lessons are roughly 90 minutes and semi-private. We have limited overnight trailer parking and stabling available for an additional nominal fee. Lunch and refreshments provided to all attendees.

Olympian Dorothy Morkis was here on July Sat 11th, Sun 12th & Mon 13th 2009.

Olympian Dottie Morkis emphasizes the importance of the rider’s core. “If the posture is correct, it translates to correct and quiet hands, effective leg aids, and a much more harmonious ride overall.” An experienced international competitor from Massachusetts, Dottie works on suppling both horse and rider “Shoulder-in has an influence on everything, it helps you to equalize the horse, loosen their jaw and supple their back. It is the building block for all things.”

Available to students of all levels at $125 per ride. Auditors welcome.
